Your VITO Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

Is VITO easy to operate?

Yes, VITO is fully automatic and simple to use. Just place it in your fryer, press the button, and it filters the oil within 4.5 minutes, with no direct contact with hot oil required.

When should I change my filter paper?

Filter paper should be replaced when you notice a decrease in oil flow or when the oil no longer circulates in a vortex motion, indicating the filter box is full. Typically, for optimal performance, replace the filter paper every 6-10 cycles.

How does VITO improve the quality of my frying oil?

VITO filters out food particles and contaminants, keeping your oil cleaner and extending its lifespan, which leads to better-tasting food and lower oil consumption.

How often should I use VITO to filter my oil?

For optimal results, use VITO at least once at the end of each service day and after every shift to maintain oil quality throughout the day.

What type of fryers is VITO compatible with?

VITO is compatible with all standard deep fryers, regardless of brand or size. We offer different models to suit various fryer capacities.

How does VITO's filtration technology enhance oil quality?

VITO's advanced filtration technology removes harmful particles and carbon buildup from the oil, preventing premature degradation. This helps maintain the oil's freshness, extend its lifespan, and improve the quality of fried food. The result is consistent, high-quality food and reduced oil replacement costs.

Why is there less oil flow from the front of VITO filter?

Low oil flow doesn’t necessarily mean the filter box is full or the filter isn’t working. If you see a circular motion in the fryer, the box isn’t full. It’s normal for the VITO to release less to almost no oil at the front. The amount released depends on the operation, with most of the oil coming from the bottom and sides.
